Principal Responsibilities
Plan and execute tests for software products developed by the team.
Interact and collaborate on products and projects with a team of engineers located in the US, Europe, and Asia.
Understand requirements and translate them to measurable test metrics.
Effectively communicate test results and defects with stakeholders.
Achieve a balance between timely delivery of product features and also ensuring excellent quality of the product.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another technical field. Software-related field preferred
2+ years of experience in desktop and/or Web software test automation.
Experience in requirement management tools like Jira / Jira Align / Jama
Good understanding of Agile methodology
Familiarity of working in CI/CD model
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
Ability and/or willingness to work with emulators and hardware tools.
Good To Have
3+ years of experience in Desktop and/or Web software testing with any popular automation test framework
Hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud solutions
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
1+ years of hands-on experience with Python development.
Understanding of RS-232, USB, Ethernet and packet-based communication protocols
Familiarity with Rockwell Automation controllers and software tools
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
