We are looking for a Software Test Engineer having experience 1-2 Yrs for our Coimbatore Location. The candidate will be responsible for functional testing, the implementation of technical tests and framework(s) using best practice. They will plan and execute the technical test-related activities for the relevant business applications, ensuring that they are effectively tested against agreed functional and non-functional requirements prior to production deployment. They will also have proven experience testing in an agile environment, combined with a strong technical test related background. Higher experience should exhibit abilities of leading a test team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Experience in testing web-based applications in agile model
Well versed with SDLC and STLC concepts
Responsible for developing and maintaining test cases, creating test data and thoroughly documenting defects detected during test execution
Should handle Functional testing, Integration testing, System testing, Regression testing, Smoke testing, and Sanity testing independently.
Collaborate with QA/Dev Team members to develop effective strategies to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Willing to learn automation in a short span
Experience of working in an environment with the automated testing tool "Selenium" would be added advantage.
Experience working in non-functional testing would be an added advantage.
Knowledge/ experience in Mobile/API testing is a plus
