Job Description

Actively participate in requirement analysis and test design.
Individual will be responsible to developing test plan, test cases and test scenarios based on the business of application.
Responsible to executing test cases, test scenarios, end to end workflows.
Responsible to tracking and logging defects during execution.
Generating reports such as defect analysis report, project status report, etc.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the software testing lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problem.
Document lessons learned; help maintain knowledge database.
Coordination among various teams

The Basics
Total Years of Technical Experience: 3-5 Years
Position Specific Experience: Minimum 3 years on manual testing
Mentorship/Leads by Example Experience:
Project/ Client Engagement/ Customer Facing Experience: 2 Years

Qualifications include:
Education: BE (Computer / Information technology) / MCA  
Specialized knowledge: Manual testing, Test Case management, Bug Life Cycle, Agile Methodology
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Access and/or SQL

Desired Skills:
Have good understanding of Software testing lifecycle.
Should have Knowledge in various test development and design methodologies.
Should have good knowledge in various types of testing (Functional testing, Regression testing, User Interface testing, User Acceptance testing etc…)
Good Knowledge in Bug Tracking tool (i.e., Azure DevOps, JIRA, Assembla etc…) and Test Cases management tool (TestRail, TestLink, Microsoft Test Manager)
Working knowledge on SQL.
Working knowledge on Web API testing
Good working knowledge on Agile methodology and processes.
Should have excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills (good to have):
Working experience either on automation testing or performance testing or security testing is an added advantage.
Sound have good interpersonal and team working skills
Demonstrate relationship building and teamwork skills within all levels of the organization in a collaborative effort
Must be adaptable in a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings
Should be able to understand customer / end users requirements and should own the responsibility till closure.
