ZF TCI is seeking an experienced ECU Software Test Senior engineer with more than 2 years of experience to perform product and project specific System/Software validation activities.
This position requires strong collaboration with the product and project participants from SW, software-, safety-, test- and software project management and SW construction teams.
In this position it is required to perform software requirements analysis, validation, Test case implementation, effort estimations and Automation.
We work with a vision of “Speak with One Voice to Customer” a new concept - Central OEM Requirement - was described as finding synergies between different product lines which are working for the same customer / platform.
This position is for Central Test and Automation Team, Where the engineer must collaborate with different project from different part of the ZF World.
And it is required to perform software requirements analysis, validation, effort estimations and Automation.
By working in this team, the candidate shall get exposer to many products, this help the candidate to build a strong carrier as well.
Authorities & responsibilities
Investigation of requirements new and changes and bug fixes
Derivation of test procedure for requirements
Analysis and categorization of defects
Review of requirements in cooperation with the internal or external customer
Communication with stake holders
Root cause analysis
Actively take part in training the new engineers joining the team.
Job Specific Requirements
Education
Master’s/Bachelors in Computer Science / Information Technology / Mechatronics / Automotive Electronics / Electrical Electronics / ENTC
Experience
Experience in System Testing/Software Testing for Automotive/Embedded Products
Experience with Vector tool chain like CANoe, VTest studio and CAPL.
Strong experience in Setting up RBS in CANoe.
Strong experience and knowledge on Automotive/Embedded testing in SIL and HIL.
Good experience and knowledge on UDS and ECU Diagnostics.
Programming skills Python, CAPL, C
Worked in Scaled Agile Framework
Experience in working with Global OEMs/India OEMs
Knowledge in Automotive Safety Standards (ISO26262) and Processes (ASPICE)
List and level of skills & competencies
Knowledge/ Technical skills:
Communication protocol: CAN, Flexray, CANFD, XCP Ethernet and Diagnostics Protocols (UDS/ISO 14229).
Experience in Tools: CANalyzer, Canoe, Debuggers tools.
Experience in Tools: Code Beamer, Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, PTC.
Good knowledge of Python scripting.
Shall be able to understand the system requirements and derive the test cases.
Good debugging skill in test system issues and SW issues.
Adhere to automotive safety standard ISO26262 and ASPICE standard.
ISTQB certification and automotive ECU testing process knowledge.
Collaboratively work within the team and different domains.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exposure to multi project software Testing.
Should be a self-motivated, result oriented and with an Innovative mind set.
