Job Description

The V&V Manager is responsible for leading and driving the overall vision for the V&V, ensuring high quality SW is delivered to Customer. He/She represents the V&V domain during internal or external stakeholder interactions

Responsible for
- Managing Quality, Cost and Delivery of V&V Activities

Authority for
- Has the authority to Approve or Hold the release based on the Software Quality

Your Task:
responsible for process alignment, on-time delivery and quality of V&V deliverables and overall, SW quality
ensures implementation of V&V strategy as per V&V Plan across all features
monitors and consolidates the V&V activities across features
performs risk management (Identification, assessment, actions definition and tracking)
creates overall test summary report considering release recommendations for all test levels across all features
generates and reports project specific metrics, defects summary
reports the validation status to internal and external stakeholders (Customer)
performs stakeholder management: -coordination/communication with PjM, PAs, Sys, SW, HW, Mech., Customer etc.
coordinates with software project manager to achieve project milestones including escalations
represent VnV in Meetings like internal stakeholder meetings.
manages test infrastructure across features in the project (e.g., sharing of HIL systems)
participates in ITCB meetings before every release for test scope finalization
performs resource planning & utilization
tracks the project budget utilization
performs project-specific purchases activities for setting up of test infrastructure (HILs, SW licenses etc.)

Required Competencies:
Experience in leading minimum of 2 projects (Automotive Domain - Desired) as Test Manager/SW project manager.
Hands on applying the Project Management concepts (Planning, Scheduling, Stakeholder management, Resource handling, Risk management)
Expertise in Automotive System/Software development & testing experience
Familiarity in HiL \SiL framework (manual / automated)
Experience in various CAN & LIN Protocol & tools (CANOe, CANalyser etc.)
Hands on experience in test design, test specification and execution of test cases
Strong analytical and debugging skills & Communication skills
Certifications in PMP / Advanced ISTQB Test Manager is an added advantage.

Qualifications
B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.TECH [Electronics, Electricals background]
10 to 13 years of experience
