Define test requirements from accurate analysis of project documentation, test cases and test data
Design and automate tests effectively for work items assigned to their scrum agile development team
Work with Technology & Data Business Analysts to achieve sign off from a variety of business stakeholders that the Data & Analytics solutions have met requirements through comprehensive test results
Experience in test automation solution, designing automation frameworks and lead the implementation of test strategy, test plans & test execution of the product.
Supports automation script development and the optimization of those scripts.
Recommends new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality.
Experience in architecting & building real-time, large scale e-commerce applications
To work with QA team for resolution of technical issues of the product as needed.
Develop automation strategy to support regression testing based on the technical analysis, complexity and reusability
Responds appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with changes, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures.
Designing test frameworks for test automation and testing in general
Designing test environments
Providing guidance on the selection of the most effective test design techniques in a given situation
Providing guidance on technical types of testing such as performance testing and security testing
Designing methods for the creation of test data
Coordinating testing with release processes
Identifying and recommending the automated testing processes and tools
Define and publish key performance metrics for the automated testing
Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement test automation across project teams
Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework & approach across project teams
Oversee technological execution of the recommended automation solution roadmap across project teams
Participate in Design and Architectural reviews of proposed automation solutions across project teams
Evaluate and select best usage of test automation tools for different purposes
Assist engineering management team with the technical presentation of proposed automation solutions

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Advanced experience in Testing SharePoint, Power Platform along with development experience in the same.
Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
UI and/or API level test automation expertise
Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing several test automation solutions leveraging one or more of the following: Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, SoapUI, Postman, Protractor, Jmeter, LoadRunner, VisualStudio Load Test, Grinder, Gatling, JUnit, TestNG
Experience of Python within automation development/ implementations.
Experience with web service technology like XML, REST, SOAP.
Experience in high volume, high throughput web/ecommerce environment
Experienced in implementing testing and QA frameworks using Agile methodologies.
Understanding and hands on experience in developing, enhancing automation testing frameworks.
Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data for load and functional automation projects
Knowledge in security testing, performance testing, performance tuning is a definite plus.
Passion for achieving excellence in technical, process, product quality and reliability.
Must be extremely detail and technology oriented and possess excellent communications skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
3+ years working as Automation Lead/Test Automation Architect (or similar)
5+ years working as Automation Engineer leveraging test automation solutions
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/ MS Degree from a good Institute.
