Primary Responsibilities:
Create, review, and execution of Test Cases based on the overall provided documentation.
Performs End to End testing for assigned IVR projects.
Analyzing all gathered documentation and testing it against the software and/or hardware solutions developed by development resources to ensure all requirements are met prior to their implementation to the production environment.
Rising and monitoring defects in Jira database.
Ensures all issues are presented and communicate out to project teams.
Learning about internal company platforms and processes.
Propose enhancements to the system(s) being tested which were not identified in the requirements but that can increase the efficiency or usability of the system being tested.
Preforming various test procedures requested by assigned development team.
Communicate all issues to project teams and departmental leadership.
Create and publish signoff document detailing testing effort, defects encountered and their statuses, and their recommendation whether to implement the functionality/system or not.
Support development team by creating and providing test data.
Learning about internal company platforms and processes.
Qualifications
Education
Minimum Required: Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience.
Experience
5+ years of experience as Tester
2+ years of Experience in testing IVR applications
Required Skills
Solid understanding of IVR architecture and call flows.
Experience in testing IVR applications and Contact Center applications.
Skilled in various testing techniques: Functional, Integrations, System, Compatibility, and Acceptance Testing.
Ability to create and execute manual test cases to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation provided.
Skilled in identifying test cases from Software Requirements and/or Use Cases.
Must be able to analyze the effects of any new software or functionality on end users and develop a testing strategy which minimizes any negative impacts on the users represented.
Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures in a highly flexible environment.
Knowledge of applications supporting testing process: Jira, Confluence and TestRail
ISTQB Certificate (Foundation level) is a plus
Ability to work within tight deadlines.
