Job Responsibilities:
Test business software applications, which include system, integration, performance, regression, and support of User Validation;
Develop test plans for medium to complex systems development and maintenance projects;
Coordinate with developers towards resolution of issues or defects, as well as with business owners, project managers, solution architects, etc., to successfully prepare for tests;
Create testing scripts to ensure software and other components are operating as designed and per the functional requirements, and work with requirements analyst to get a good understanding of functionality;
Executes tests plans, records and reviews test results for accuracy and completeness
Coordinates User Acceptance Testing with business clients;
Work on multiple complex and varying technology projects independently as well as in partnership with Development teams, in parallel.
Required Skills:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Software Testing;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Experience developing Test Plans and Test Scripts;
Experience with managing test efforts, design and generation of metrics and status reports
Understanding of defect management/resolution processes
Experience coordinating bug fixes with Developers
Experience coordinating testing cycles with clients
Experienced and knowledgeable in test tools
Experience in Automation Testing would be an added advantage
