Duties and Responsibilities:
Model-based algorithms testing for the powertrain system’s supervisory controller. Test case generation and test report creation for the Application SW components in VCU.
Support the development of software and system technical specifications, review requirements and test plans.
Develop test procedures, plant models, and ensure software meets all requirements and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Master of Science is preferred.
2 to 4 years of experience developing control system functional specifications, designing model-based and code-based algorithms and testing for Powertrain supervisory controller using MATLAB / Simulink and C / C++.
Experience creating requirements-based test cases for Simulink algorithms.
Experience developing software test plans and implementing software unit testing and integrated testing using MIL, SIL, and HIL environments. Experience with tools like Simulink Test.
Experience supporting the review and coverage of control system functional requirements.
Experience developing plant models to aim simulation and testing of controls logic.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with back-to-back testing, coverage testing, and testing automation.
Familiarity with HIL environments.
Experience with distributed version controls systems such as Git.
