We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic candidate to join our Product Development team as SQA Engineer.
The candidate should have work experience in testing and development.
The candidate will report to the Manager, SQA Engineering
3 to 5 years of experience
Hands on experience in automation tools such Testcafe, Selenium/Webdriver, TestNG/Junit
Hands on experience on API testing tools like SoapUI, Postman, Jmeter
Experience in Javascript, Node JS development
Experience using version control tools such as Git
Experience using build/deployment tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI
Scripting experience in Perl, Python would be added advantage
Knowledge of Java, C# or other programming languages
Good knowledge of Linux environments, Basics of Shell Scripting.
Willing to get into a DevOps role helping to take a feature from conception to customer release
Should have understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and Kibana
Responsible for the design, set up, and execution of (manual and automated) test cases using test management tools such as TestRail/Testopia
Work closely with multiple scrum teams to ensure timely and quality product releases.
Constantly improve product test & automation coverage, review code and implement complex automation testcases to catch application bugs through automation.
Able to design and implement new automation framework, test cases with required tools and scripts.
Work with Scrum master, Product management team to better understand the process, test stories, features and be part of improvements for quality release.
Design and implement various type of tests, such as functional, integration, system and performance to validate different aspects of the product feature.
Constant reviewing of support cases, customer complaints and put efforts to decrease escaped defect rates and automation around it.
Passionate to make product reasonably bug free by working with all stakeholders.
Review and analyse test results and provide accurate assessment of the feature quality to release/scrum teams for decision of shipment.
Continually improve testing methodology, testing procedures, and test environment.
Continually developing knowledge of the relevant technology, products, tools and quality processes and delivery.
Produce good quality work, while maintaining high quantity of work.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor/Master in Computer Science / Engineering, or equivalent.
Professional experience as a QA Engineer/SDET, working on a large software product requiring a high degree of collaboration and integration.
Should have strong manual and automation testing concepts, belief in applying test to break attitude, software fundamentals and bug reporting attitude for the product.
Experience of any scripting or programming language for web based software automation.
Good experience in developing and maintaining automation framework.
Thorough understanding of software engineering, testing principles, product life cycles, and quality risk analysis techniques.
Experience working on Linux operating system and command line utilities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Must be able to prioritize, track and complete multiple outstanding tasks.
Must have excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
