Responsibilities:
Perform SW, QA and UA Engineering tasks
Complete all tasks and activities assigned to them
Set up Test environments and execute all assigned test scripts within the stipulated time frame.
Perform manual globalization testing on localized products
Investigate and raise defects according to JIRA defect logging guidelines.
Verify and regress the localization defects
Capture context and linguistic screenshots as per the schedule and upload to external vendors
Preparing and processing Transkits(UA/UI)
Run and monitor the globalization system to ensure that resource files and translation database are in sync.
Prepare project translation kits and send out to translation vendors
Validate transkits on return
Supporting translation vendors
Proactively answer all queries from translation vendors
Log GH-JIRA Service Requests to Translation Vendors to query any Linguistic issues found during Testing as per GH JIRA defect Logging Guideline.
Investigate linguistic service requests from external reviewers and determine if defects need to be logged.
Process and Tools
Agile understanding and capability to work in Sprint model
Identify areas of improvement in existing tools and processes
Provide feedback and insights to project lead for process improvements or optimizations.
Identify potential automation opportunities and report them to the Project Leads.
Escalate key quality issues and drive to resolution
Automation
Automate delta scope screens for assigned project
Maintain and run automation scripts constantly
Qualifications:
Overall 2-3 years of QA experience with Automation testing.
Exposure to product localization/internationalization concepts.
Degree or equivalent in a computer-related discipline.
Knowledge of UI automation and industry-standard tools (Selenium, Autoflex, Git, Jenkins, API automation, etc)
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (Computers) Passed out in 2019 and above.
Preferrable (Nice-to-have) Skills:
Experience working on products across different platforms.
Passionate learner mindset with excellent attention to detail.
SQL skill is an added advantage.
Knowledge of any programming language (preferably C#, python) and any other Scripting is an added advantage.
