Responsibilities:
Own system integration testing of product, define test plans and execute the same to find weakness in the solution
Setup and configure customer-like test environments using docker containers and in GCP, to execute automated scripts against those systems
Be the quality champion for system integration testing and ensure high quality of delivery of releases going out to customers
Develop and enhance test automation framework using Python for SaaS based products using high volumes of data in a distributed architecture
Create and modify scripts using Robot Framework to increase system integration test automation coverage
Debug test execution and automation issues and resolve the same to ensure successful test execution in a CI/CD environment using Jenkins
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience of using different data structures of Python to implement highly efficient reusable, maintainable and scalable test automation
Rich experience of working on complex products based on Linux/Docker in cloud platforms like GCP/AWS
Experience of using open source tools and frameworks for test automation like Robot Framework, Selenium
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institute
Experience of 3 to 7 years in test automation
Passion for coding and scripting and having an eye to identify problem root cause and deliver efficient solutions
Enthusiasm to learn new technology and adopt with high velocity
Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
Experience of running automated test suites in CI/CD environments using Jenkins pipelines
Experience of working on products handling large volumes of data using Hadoop and NoSQL databases like MongoDB
Knowledge of Kafka streaming platform
Experience of working with ELK or Google Big Query
Experience of working in Agile methodology
