We are looking for talented and motivated Technical Lead - QA to work with the FullPicture Team. Your responsibilities include estimating, planning, and coordinating testing activities. You will also be responsible for building and managing teams in creating, maintaining, and updating the test automation framework as well as working closely with Developers and Business Analysts / Product Owners on the Quality Assurance for the stories in delivery.
Required Core Skills
Strong knowledge and experience on test frameworks like Selenium.
Understanding RESTful APIs and experience on API test Automation.
Strong programming experience ex: Java
Strong team building and people management skills are a must.
Exposure to Agile development methodology and approach.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills for peer-to-peer and peer-to-leadership communication.
Experience in handling change in priorities, scope, and technologies.
Ability to work with broad requirements and ask the right questions to clarify.
Availability and capability to provide on-call diagnostic/troubleshooting support for features developed.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Experience working in support environment as a team member and lead to resolve production issues.
Responsibilities
Defining quality standards and metrics for the current project/product.
Working with all stake holders to ensure that the quality metrics is reviewed, closed, and agreed upon.
Make the QA team aware of the Quality matrix and resolve all the queries.
Ensure the team is focusing on automation along with manual testing.
Take ownership of the automated testing framework.
Be hands-on to develop, execute, and debug automated tests for our web applications.
Perform Manual testing when automation is not implemented.
Keep the pace of automation in line with development teams to avoid more manual testing.
Identifying and resolving anomalies during test on various software and system-level platforms.
Identifying and implementing required software modifications.
Participating in technical reviews of software products.
Working with software development peers, domain experts, and product owner.
Proving on-call diagnostic/troubleshooting support for features developed.
Education and Experience
BCA/BSc/BE degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, IT or any related fields
Overall 8+ years relevant experience with minimum 4+ years in leading test teams, developing test automation frameworks and performing in depth Quality Assurance for critical Production systems.
