Overall Proven experience of 8+ years in Quality Assurance and Testing with relevant hands-on experience in test automation engineering
Essential Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in Automated Testing of web-based application and building Automation framework
Strong experience hands-on in UI & API Automation in Java & Selenium, REST assured, web services, Cucumber and exposure to UFT/QTP.
Experience working in Core Java, SQL, & Web Services. Groovy and Gradle would be plus.
Comprehensive knowledge around tools such as: Jira, Confluence, Git & Jenkins pipeline
Good understanding on RDBMS concepts
Dedicated engineering capability with desire to use practical and professional concepts in QA along with application of QA standards and procedures to resolve routine issues
Hands-on current experience authoring, building and adopting large scale, multi-functional automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across back-end integration, database levels, UI.
Integration of test automation into CI/CD process and instrument full SDLC automation
Experience in defining a test automation strategy and required tools based on process and architecture assessment by engaging different roles and partners
Very Strong Functional & Automation Testing fundamentals, TDD/BDD
Good exposure to web application testing based on AngularJS/SpringBoot, testing messaging frameworks based applications (Active MQ, JMS)
Good experience in Test Strategy, test plan, Test design, test execution traceability, test report and ensure usage of tools for optimization
Teammate who is highly proactive and eager to support colleagues when needed
Ability to tackle responsibility for tasks and work independently
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skill, vendor mgmt. experience is a plus
Analytical troubleshooting skills and ability to own problems through to resolution
Ability to optimally work both independently and within multi-functional project teams than span multiple time-zones & locations
