Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Provides leadership in technical area of the product to direct and mentor team in a technical area of the product.
This role would be a technical role and would develop career in technical area in the organization.
Specific duties and responsibilities include mentoring team, creating, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases against our hardware and software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA Activities.
Be the SME for the team and lead the teams in adopting latest tools and technologies
Hands on programming skills in C# or Java.
Have Automation experience using at least two tools like Selenium, Appium, SeeTest, Spec Flow.
Have hands on experience on testing and automating Mobile Applications, REST API , SDK testing with at least 3 independent projects executed using the mentioned tool.
Good knowledge in Linux, Windows, Android and IOS
Good knowledge on microservices architecture.
Hands on expertise in SQL DB or KSQL. Have expertise in writing DB queries.
Have expert knowledge in testing concepts, test process, test design skills and testing techniques.
Effective in written, verbal and presentations skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts enabling teams to be successful.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, negotiate and work with cross functional teams. Flexibility to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Willingness to make decisions, ability to assess risk and act with a sense of urgency enabling teams to deliver on time.
Self-directed. Able to identify and completely own the projects. Skilled at customer presentations and communicating and influencing internal customers. Documentation is professional and frequent with virtually all technical work formally captured.
You will also add to our company's performance and scalability testing efforts including writing of specialized testing tools for use in testing our mobile apps, web apps, and web servicesHave exposure to Azure DevOps tool or other test management tool for maintaining test cases, updating the test results and sending the test updates to Manager on timely basis.
Basic networking knowledge is a must.
Must demonstrate flexibility in work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines as required
Engage in cross team collaboration to enhance the test efficiency across the groups. Interfacing with overseas counterparts frequently to resolve issues.
Worked in Agile environment
Desired Skills & Abilities:
Has exposure in performing security
Exposure to containerization and Kubernetes
Exposure to IOT domain projects would be added advantage.
Experience with integrated test environments would be added advantage
Good system level debugging skills are an advantage.
Willing to travel across geographical boundaries based on the business need.
Required Education and Experience:
An engineering bachelor degree or master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
