The primary responsibility will be automating automation test scripts for Oracle EBS implementation in Emerson Automation Solutions (Autosol). The responsibilities cover the understanding of test process flow, development of test scripts using Unified Functional Tool (UFT), designing, and implementing automation framework, raising valid defects, analyzing defects with SPOC, executing scripts in test events (CRP, SIT & FAT). This position requires expert knowledge of the Oracle Manufacturing functional modules, skills in Problem Investigation, Problem Resolution, Application Testing, and Communication. The Test Analyst is also required to participate in the discussion of any new automation activity and analyze any gaps and provide solution.
Required Skills and Experience:
3-6 years of automation testing experience
Expertise in test automation tools. Preferably UFT. Additional knowledge of Selenium is good to have
Expertise in creating and managing automation test framework
Strong knowledge of scripting language (VBScript or JavaScript)
Strong working knowledge of developing and executing automation test cases
Should have experience in defect analysis and management
Sound knowledge of test management tools preferably ALM and JIRA
Knowledge of the CI/CD tool (Jenkins) is desirable
Knowledge of TDD is good to have
Ability to learn quickly and work with less guidance
Self-Motivated / Team player with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Must be flexible, adaptable, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.

EDUCATION / LANGUAGE:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other quantitative business-related discipline or equivalent experience required.
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication abilities in English
