Functional Testing:
Define test cases based on product and technical requirements.
Work with development/business team to identify and capture test cases
Tests all aspects of the product/system like function/component, system, performance, regression and service.
Work with development/business team to identify and capture test cases
Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people
Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software, including update of test and project management tools, such as QC/JIRA
Preparing requirement traceability matrix for test cases
BAU Support & Coordination:
Analyze production bugs in UAT environment and pipeline feedback to development team
Participate in test results analysis and consults with project team on resolution of problems with moderate complexity
Work with stakeholders from technology & business to review test results & define next course of action
Escalate problems, missed TATs etc appropriately
Publish UAT dashboard on a regular basis

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Minimum 2-3 years job related experience, preferably in the mutual fund or financial services industry with overall experience of minimum 4 yrs
Exposure to Agile project methodologies
Testing experience in IT / ITES. Knowledge of the Indian mutual funds industry and regulations involved therein (SEBI and AMFI guidelines) will be an added advantage
