Roles and Responsibilities:
Designing and developing test automation scripts using test automation guidelines.
Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
Updated with the latest industry developments.
Researching issues in software through testing.
Understanding of overall Testing process and experience in Agile Methodology
Participate in scrum meetings and share our views on tickets for automation scope.
Execute and stabilize scripts across browsers platforms, fix failed test cases
Soft skills required:
Independent problem-solving skills, Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn new skills/technologies quickly and independently
Ability to communicate and deliver effective Automated Test solutions
Required Technical skills:
Should have 3-7 yrs. experience in Web Testing (manual & automation)
At least 2+ years Expertise in web automation testing for eCommerce / Retail applications preferably Hybrid environments.
Experience and good knowledge in programming languages Java/Javascript is a must
Proven hands-on experience with Selenium/BDD/Cucumber
Experience in Version controlling system like Gitlab/Github is must
Experience in Data driven testing, POM and continuously improving test automation framework
2+ years Hands-on coding for test automation
Experience having automated in an Agile & DevOps environment
Executed tests using CI/CD tools
Experience in defect management tools like Jira/gitlab
Demonstrated skill in using coding standards
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
Desired Technical skills:
One Testing Certification ISTQB or CSTE is good to have
2 or more programming knowledge experience is good to have
Qualification:
Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Sciences
7+ years of relevant technical experience in a QA environment.
Minimum of 4 + years of hands-on automation experience with web , mobile and API testing
