Job Description

The Embedded Automotive Test Automation Senior Engineer or lead is responsible for designing and developing automated test solutions for embedded automotive systems. This role ensures high-quality software delivery through robust test strategies, hands-on validation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The engineer will focus on automation frameworks, test execution, defect analysis, and continuous improvement, particularly in domains such as BCM / EV / ADAS / Telematics and Connected Car technologies

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for embedded automotive software using Python / JScript etc.
Lead the development and enhancement of automation frameworks tailored for Automotive Embedded Systems using AI/ML, Gen AI
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution
Develop, review, and update test plans, test cases, and test procedures for embedded systems
Stay updated with advancements in AI testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to provide technical leadership
Utilize open-source tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured) for web, API, and AI-specific testing
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting a quality-first mindset and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing in AI projects

Essential skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on AI/ML or Data Science applications
Strong programming skills in Python (mandatory), Java, or C++
Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
Experience with Communication protocols i.e., CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, XCP, SOME I/P
Prior experience with Automotive Sub-Systems like, Exterior Light / Interior Light / Chassis / ADAS / Connected Vehicles.

Desired skills
Experience testing Gen AI, LLMs, or NLP applications
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
