The Test Automation Manager will lead our automation team to the successful delivery of software testing projects to our internal customers
The role is accountable to lead the development of Automation frameworks and tools , manage delivery of automated regression suites within approved budget and schedule commitments whilst meeting required quality and compliance/regulatory standards.
The role also requires prior hands-on experience building automation frameworks and delivering large automation testing projects for customers

Essential for the role:
Minimum 12+ years of experience and proven record in managing automation testing teams and projects
Previous experience working as a Test Automation Lead/Manager
Previous experience of building automation frameworks and in-depth knowledge of software automation techniques
Being able to lead large automation testing projects to successfully deliver for customers
In depth understanding and use of Agile and Waterfall testing methods
Experience of a wide variety of automation tools and programming languages – e.g. Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, REST-assured Java, Python, Bash etc.
Strong stakeholder management and influence skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive approach to problem solving with strong Lateral and Critical thinking skills
Self-learner and serious about remaining up to date with testing industry advancements. Ability to grasp and understand new technology and concepts
Experience working in globally distributed team
Desirable for the role:
Hands-on experience managing vendor communications and conflict resolutions
Hands on experience in people management and career progression management
Involvement with external communities and experience in driving internal communities for knowledge sharing and promoting team learning
Strong presentation and reporting skills
Master’s / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Mobile testing experience. Manual and automated
CI/CD, DevOps experience
