Main responsibilities:
Responsible for automation framework development using python and Robot.
Ensure overall Component SW quality before releasing to next level of testing.
Propose new tools/technique to develop the test automation capabilities further.
Responsible to manage the test environment for API & UI testing.
Create understandable, simple, scalable, and best quality automation test cases to verify and validate the software quality.
Responsible for verifying and validate the software quality.
Should support the development team to release the software on time.
Implement the new technique and innovative idea to reduce the test execution time and improve test quality.
Report the software defect in acceptable way on time.
Review the test cases.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering – CSE / IT/ ECE / E&I / EEE.
Minimum 8+ Years of Experience in Test Automation as Test case Developer from API / Web / Cloud domain using Python.
Good knowledge and experience in test tools like Robot Framework, Jenkins, Jira, GitLab or Git.
Good knowledge and experience in API Testing using the Postman tool.
Good knowledge and experience in API Automation Testing using the Requests Library, WebSocket.
Good and strong knowledge in Python to validate & verify the functions of data analytics.
Good Knowledge in AWS is an added asset.
Good Knowledge and experience in Performance testing using JMeter.
Good Knowledge and experience in Security testing using Burp suite or any equivalent tools.
Good and basic knowledge in Salesforce.
Experience in test planning and automation test case designing for Planner tool.
Experience in test library development using python.
Familiar with Linux environment.
Good Understanding of SW testing cycle.
Knowledge of agile methodologies is an asset.
