Qualification: B. E./ M.E./ M.Tech. (Electronics Engg. Or Electronics and Communications Engg.)
Experience level: 1 - 3 years [including Freshers with interest in WiFi testing]
Must have skills:
Self motivated, fast learner and able to work independently with least guidance
Strong analytical skills
Basic knowledge of computer networking concepts (TCP/IP stack, OSI model etc.)
Basic operational idea of Linux and Windows operating systems
Nice to have skills:
Understanding of WiFi internals
Basic idea of Shell and/or Python scripting
Basic understanding Signals and Communication Systems including Antenna theory, Modulation and Coding, Analog and Digital signal processing
Interest to work on signal generators and signal analyzers
Responsibilities:
Conduct experiments with Arista’s WiFi Access Points for characterization of performance and stability
Design the test cases and carry out experiments to understand underlying causes of performance issues related to hardware and RF systems inside WiFi Access Points
Work closely with Arista Access Points Engineering and System Testing Teams on setting up and executing experiments and analyzing data to identify performance limitations and potential bottlenecks
