About this role:
Looking for a Test Engineer with a passion for testing and quality assurance.
You will also work with the Product Owner, Product managers, developers, and to ensure that the requirements and well understood, Sprint testing plans are created &quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.
What you'll do:
Develops, maintains, and upgrades manual or automated test scripts
Work in a scrum team to test internal and customer-facing applications.
Follow standards of code quality and ensure bugs are resolved on time.
Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
Follow established QA processes and best practices.
Work with technical leaders, architects, and team to understand new product requirements.
Co-ordinate work on multiple phases of a project and/or projects of moderate scope or possibly in more complex assignments.
Check consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems.
Solving/debugging issues in the systems by coordinating with remote teams across different verticals
What you'll need:
Experience in testing Frontend applications, Backend services (API testing) as well as Systems Integration testing.
Proven understanding of OOPS concepts and excellent coding skills, preferably in Java with Selenium 3 or 4.
Fluent in one or more Test automation frameworks like BDD (cucumber), and Hybrid.
Good in database queries (DML and DQL), and knowledge of NoSQL platforms will be an added advantage.
Worked on TestNG, Maven, Extent report, Jenkins
Must have experiences in tools like SELENIUM, POSTMAN, and JIRA.
Must have worked on GIT/BITBUCKET
Good to have skills:
Knowledge of Salesforce or any CRM will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Rest Assured, JMeter, and SOAP will be an added advantage
Good to have a basic understanding of cloud technologies like AWS, and AZURE.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
