Perform analysis of requirement documentation and subsequent provision of feedback/comments;
Analysing & Understanding Functional Requirements to identify potential gaps and construct a test approach / plan
Analysing & understanding existing systems, overlaying new requirements
Participation in BRD / Functional Specification walkthroughs;
Development of Test Artefacts like Test Objectives and Test Cases, Test Reports;
Implementation of traceability between Test Cases and requirements;
Nomination / development of data requirements;
Liaison with Business Analysts/Technical Business Analysts;
Developing automated test scripts using appropriate tools such as Selenium, lean FT
Performing environment shakedown (where applicable);
Execution of ST/SIT/E2E Test Cases and subsequent raising of defects (where applicable);
Analysing the defects, identifying the root cause and preparation of required documents:
Coordination and tracking of the resolution of defects with respective stakeholders
Participation in regular progress/status update meetings;
Execution of automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Lean FT;
Actively seek improvement opportunities at all points in the process and suggest/action recommendation;
Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Bank policies and external regulatory requirements.
Your skills & experience Essential:
5 years of software testing experience in Financial Services Industry.
Experience in functional test automation using a variety of tools like like Selenium, Lean FT depending on the application, and ability to develop test scripts independently
Experience in programming languages to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
Ability to analyse complex business requirements to produce test requirements.
Good understanding of the Financial/Banking domain.
Experience in producing test plans and other test artefacts like test cases, TOMs, test status and completion reports.
Ability to deliver a high level of work quality whilst maintaining high level of productivity.
Ability to work on manual and automation testing successfully across multiple projects
Prior experience working on complex enterprise projects with integration & migration components
Tertiary qualifications in an IT/computer-related discipline
Strong communication skills
Experience in using JIRA or similar test management tools for requirements, testing, and defect management and reporting/metrics
Ability to test across multiple functional test phases
Desirable:
Recognised industry certifications ISTQB.
Experience in working with geographically diverse testing teams.
