Work with the application and technical architecture teams to plan one or more of the following: component, performance, user acceptance, and technical architecture tests.
Perform test plan development and test execution to ensure that testing is on time and within budget.
Perform data testing.
Perform manual and automated testing across all test phases
Follow the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach.
Participate in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards.
Responsible for Defining QA strategy, approach and execution in development of Product.
Provide leadership and technical expertise within Quality Assurance.
Maintain high team morale.
Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automation
Basic Qualifications:
6-9 years of IT Experience.
Experience/knowledge of software development life cycle for P&C insurance software will be added advantage
Experience with SQL Database and PL/SQL
Experience and understanding of XML
Experience preparing and executing product, user acceptance tests.
Experience using and managing defect tracking systems like Azure
Experience in reporting on progress during each test phase to ensure that the application is tested and that it meets or exceeds expectations
Experience translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product and user acceptance testing
Experience with automated testing software applications like Selenium, JMeter
Leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.
