Developing test plan, test scenarios and test cases
Designing and evaluating software testing data
Understanding test scripts and configurations
Maintain product quality & testing within agreed schedule
Collecting and analyzing test results and software quality measurements
Preparing and configuring testing environments
Preparing periodic software testing reports
Leading improvement in software testing efficiency
Close cooperation with Product Development team
Actively participate in the software reviews from the software quality and testability perspective
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumentation and Control, Electronic and Communication, Electrical Engineering, related engineering discipline or equivalent
5-9 years experience with atleast 4 years in Product testing profile
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Experience in software testing
Experience of Writing test cases for simple enhancements
Ability to present issues found in testing to the Product Development Engineers
Knowledge in discrete and continuous controllers, HMI, bus technologies and field instrumentation
Ability to troubleshoot systems and write technical reports
Experience of Installation of Windows OS, drivers and Microsoft patches.
Experience using Windows operating systems
Excellent presentation skills
Advanced knowledge of the Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Good English verbal and written communication
Other Advantages:
ISTQB / ISEB certificate on at least Foundation leve
Experience with the Agile methodologies
Experience working with Real Time Operating Systems
Knowledge on IP networking
Recognized expertise in a technology or product area
Familiarity with one or more of the following industries: power generation, water / wastewater, hydrocarbon processing, oil and gas, pulp and paper, specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical or food and beverage
Experience in programming (C/C++/C#) and scripting languages
Experience in engineering, configuration and start-up of process control systems
Experience in configuring or operating DCS, PLC or SCADA
