The Test Engineer must have experience in OSS domain testing including manual and automation testing. He/She should be able to understand the requirements and design test cases, successfully executing them and reporting defects for every deviation. Test engineer should also have capabilities of troubleshooting and supporting customer application systems for IT, Telco B/OSS, IP&Core, Cloud, Network and other systems. The Test Engineer must have experience in regression and functionality test cases automation in tools like Robot Framework/Selenium and python and should be able to automate test cases as per the project demands.
Test engineer should have experience working in AGILE/DEVOPS model and understands the Scrum/Kanban methodologies. Test engineer is familiar with EPICS/User Stories and comfortable using JIRA
Test engineer should have experience in test management tools like HP QC/X-Ray and defect management tools like JIRA, etc
He/She should have very good communication skills and should be able to collaborate well with other team members and different stakeholders
Key Qualifications
1. Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom)
2. 4+ Years of Experience including Automation Testing
3. Experience on Automation testing tools like Robot Framework and Python.
4. Python/Selenium Certificate would be an added advantage.
5. Experience on different OSS applications testing covering FCAPS functionality.
6. Experience in troubleshooting Automation Framework/Script
7. Experience on testing process and methodologies, testing tools
