Job Description

Summary:
Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios. Executing tests on software usability. Analysing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability. Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design teams.

Essential Job Functions
Experience in web application testing and database testing to perform backend testing (SQL and DB2), write complex SQL queries required for data validation using SQL Client 
Independently work on project with ability to understand requirements, seek clarifications, define end-to-end test strategy and approach 
Ability to design effective test cases with high coverage utilizing various testing techniques and expert in system, integration and regression testing 
Ability to analyze production issues and able to simulate defects by creating required test data
Excellent communication and inter personnel skills is a must 
Experience in web application testing and database testing to perform backend testing (SQL and DB2), write complex SQL queries required for data validation using SQL Client

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
4+expereince SQL testing

Other Qualifications
Ability to design effective test cases with high coverage utilizing various testing techniques and expert in system, integration and regression testing 
Ability to analyze production issues and able to simulate defects by creating required test data 
Hands on experience in work management tools like HP ALM, JIRA and Azure Devops. 
Provides coordination across workstream-level QA/Testing resources (matrixed) and coordinating/managing workstream level and program level testing status updates 
Working with workstream QA lead to develop test plans and test cases that align with E2E testing strategy/approach
Knowledge in health care domain is added advantage
Knowledge on API Testing using SOAPUI, Swagger or other tools 
Good knowledge on XML and JSON
Knowledge in Automation using selenium or other automation testing is a plus – Not mandatory
