Design and implement test automation framework for web apps, desktop applications and various packaged applications like SFDC, SAP, PeopleSoft etc.
Understanding the automation requirement and developing solution design for complex application work flows and integrations.
Ability to design custom solutions and integrate it with tools like TOSCA / Functionize.
Understand business requirements and develop strategy for test automation following an in-sprint or automation first approach
Set up execution infrastructure and deploy hands free execution on a regular basis
Analyze the requirements and establish effective test data management solutions.
Integration of automated testing with Devops pipeline to enable continuous hands-free regression execution.
Design and architect test infrastructure to ensure cycle time and schedule goals are met.
Deliver cycle time and quality improvement goals by implementing robust and scale-able automated testing solution
Research and develop technology and tools road-map for automated testing.
Develop and execute knowledge enhancement strategy to ensure the team is scaled up on the latest technology.
Ensuring quality of deliverables from team, by implementing effective quality control and review mechanism.
Ability to effectively interact with customers and global teams.
Follow & drive metrics based quality management in automation team.
Proactively raise any issues along with possible solutions that may impact the team’s ability to meet project milestones.
Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement in the test/automation process.
Experience on scripting languages like Perl/Python will be an added advantage
Excellent problem solving and communication skill.
Ability to think logically and intuitively.
Mandatory Skills:
• Hands on experience in any one of test automation tools - TOSCA or Functionize (mandatory)
• Hands on experience in automation using Selenium or UFT (mandatory)
• Expert in development for automation framework and solution design for web, mobile and desktop applications (mandatory)
• Expert in integration of automated testing with Devops pipeline (mandatory)
• Experience in in-sprint automation and automation first strategy
• Experience in test automation enabled with AI/ ML
• Excellent knowledge in programming languages – Java Script or VB Script or Python
• Experience in automating mobile applications in both Android and IOS (optional)
• Experience in source code management in GIT / SVN
• Experience in test management tools – JIRA, XRAY2
