Roles & Responsibilities:
• Understanding of testing across the full Software Development lifecycle - Agile (Scrum)
• Adapts plans and priorities based on resource and operational challenges.
• Prepare and execute test plan, test strategy.
• Participates in the preparation of test conditions.
• Work with supplier partners effectively
• Develops and tailors the test approach specific to each phase and/or functional area of the system/application.
• Responsible for the quality of testing deliverables by collaborating with project team
• Publishes test reports/status.
• Manages the defect management process during the testing phase/effort.
• Coordinates resolution of issues related to activities impacting the progress of testing.
• Suggests, creates, or adds test cases wherever applicable.
• Identifies optimization areas and roadmap.
• Participates in test status calls and other project discussions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies, procedures, and standards.
Must Have skills
• Should have 4-6 years of experience in software testing
• Hands on Experience in Web Application Tests
• Hands on Experience of Test Management in JIRA (Xray)
• Hands on Experience in Test automation using TOSCA/Functionize
• Performance and productivity oriented to drive toward quality testing outcomes and results
• Good analytics, logical thinking abilities, excellent communication, and collaboration skills.
• Initiative taker, gets things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
• Knowledge in Agile methodology
Nice/good to have skills
• Strong knowledge in writing simple-medium SQL Query
• Hands-on experience on API testing
• Multi-tasking and with the ability to manage a variety of complex tasks
