Responsibilities:
Provide expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts.
Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the teams overall test objectives.
Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up to date.
Understand the business need and develop test cases to catch defects early in the cycle
Writing test cases and executing them
Running regression and automation suite
Well versed in Test Report preparation, Defect Tracking, Reporting and present this to senior management
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools like HP Application Lifecycle Management and Jira
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process
Thorough understanding of SDLC Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/B.E. or equivalent
2-4 years of testing experience in large-scale web and/or e-commerce applications
1+ years of experience in leading test activities on mobile platforms
Experience of testing applications implemented using services-oriented architecture and knowledge of technologies such as REST and HTTP
Experience of testing with web and mobile technologies: JavaScript, Node.js, HTTP, HTML, XML, JSON, SQL, Xcode, Android SDK
Experience with environment configurations, defect tracking, build or release management and debugging tools
Experience of automating tests on web, backend, and mobile platform using any open-source software (preferably Selenium and Appium)
Certifications like ISTQB and Automation experience using Selenium is a plus
Exposure to SQL, C#, TFS, git and Azure DevOps is a plus
HealthCare domain experience and Deep understanding of FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) is a plus
