As a test lead, you will be responsible for delivering on product type testing for MA products and software solutions including development of test strategy and design, test plan development, test execution and reporting in compliance with the quality index of the organization
You will also lead and guide the product test team (s); will be responsible for the test delivery of the test team
Defining the functional testing approach from the product standpoint across the different testing phases Creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, scenarios, and automation scripts, in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies
Providing process, product and productivity improvement ideas and drive them to completion
Your background
BE in Electrical/ Electronics and communication /Computer engineering or equivalent
7 - 9 years of test experience in product/functional testing of engineering products/software applications, manual as well as automated testing with exposure to industrial automation domain
Should be able to elicit and develop test requirements from product requirements (measurement products, Microsoft desktop software applications, web based applications)
Knowledge of SDLC Processes & Tools, knowledge of agile methodology, Microsoft Test Manager /any test management tool and be able to understand and drive manual testing process towards successful automation
Working knowledge of Microsoft Technology based development and industrial protocols like HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Ethernet IP
