Key Responsibilities:
Designs testing strategies, processes, and methods with a focus on operational usage and reusability across IBU.
Ensures good testing practices are followed by team members and vendors.
Builds test plans for assigned projects and identifies all appropriate types of testing (i.e., usability testing, unit testing, integration testing, stress/load testing, vulnerability testing, system testing, acceptance testing, parallel testing, regression testing, automation testing and mobile testing).
Works with the service provider, for the assigned project, to ensure proper training and monitors execution of tests to ensure right quality.
Recognizes test automation opportunities and plans the effort, selects the tools and framework which ensures the appropriate training of the team.
Works closely with DevOps team to enable and adopt continuous integration and testing
Identifies opportunities to improve testing processes through lessons learned or root-cause analysis and drives the implementation of these improvements.
Ensures testing issues are identified, properly addressed and fixed.
Makes sure proper regression testing is carried out every time when changes are made to a system already deployed.
Co-ordinates the use and maintenance of test environments across IBU.
Communicates efficiently testing status and issues to key stakeholders.
Liaises closely with business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing to ensure solution meets business requirements.
Appropriately interprets and applies corporate testing policies and procedures, as well as industry best practices.
Creates meaningful metrics to measure Testing Excellence.
Required Experience:
7+ Years of Experience
Working with multiple internal IT organizations and external suppliers, virtually and across different geographies.
Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and delivery processes (including waterfall and agile methodologies).
Broad experience and deep knowledge in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques, and tools.
Good understanding of defect & testing tools (e.g., Jira, ALM).
Detailed knowledge of both manual and automated testing (e.g., 1 or more Saucelabs, Appium, Selenium, & Jenkins) along with automation framework definition.
Application of corporate policies and procedures.

Desirable Skills:
Certified in Testing (i.e., ISTQB)
Prior Leadership Experience
Scripting Experience is preferred
Experience working with Heroku and/or AWS and node.js
