Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Software Test Lead responsible for the quality development and delivery of Infotainment system aimed at Automotive Domain.
You will be responsible for gathering system level requirements from customer, prepare test cases and execute system testing in vehicle or system labs.
Therefore, deep understanding on automotive infotainment domain, standards, Software\hardware architecture are essential.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
5+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment Systems testing
Strong knowledge of Automotive Infotainment System Architecture (Software and Hardware)
Strong problem solving skills, thorough understanding of System performance
Experience in functional requirement analysis and functional level test case preparation
Experience in
Test Planning
Test Estimation
Test Environment setting
Test Designing
Using test automation tools
Working experience in Test bench and Vehicle testing
Exposure to ADAS, Android Auto, Carplay a plus
Debugging and Analytical skill a plus
Familiarity in Testing application for Media, Camera, Bluetooth Navigation, HVAC etc
Proficient understanding of Source code version tools such as Git, SVN
Experience working in a highly agile distributed team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exposure to complete product development cycles
Hands on experience with different media devices like MTP, IPOD, SDCard, USB, Aux etcs and understanding the functional differences between them
Understanding and experience in CAN devices is a plus
Understanding of multimedia application and engine
Basic understanding of the system interaction with multimedia services
Working knowledge of QNX/LINUX or other embedded operating system
Working knowledge of interface testing with API’s
Positive attitude towards work, Strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Attend requirement workshops and analyse requrements at functional level
Develop and Maintain Functional /Sanity/Stability and Performance test scripts and test cases
Execution of Functional /Sanity/Stability and Performance test
Track system performance for memory and timing with quantifiable metrics
Resolve technical issues related to test environment and setup
Provide Test execution, Defect logging, Log analysis/capture and report preparation
Vehicle testing at customer locations
Ensure the test coverage
Implement automation solutions
Improve testing efficiency
Maintain documentation
Work as part of an agile team on leading edge technologies
Facilitate better communication between testing and development team
