The role of the Sr. Associate Test Engineer is to continue to plan, construct and execute test scripts and automation approach to drive quality in Duck Creek’s solutions. Test engineering roles are key in planning, designing, and evaluating products as well as collaborating with production management to apply knowledge and function to develop end to end testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies to ensure proper reliability of Duck Creek products.

Enhances knowledge of test automation framework and build foundation of core testing skills
Leverages various test design techniques to create high quality test cases
Creates and executes automated test scripts
Conducts ad hoc and exploratory testing and develop manual scripts (only as required)
Creates test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data
Coordinates and executes release testing as appropriate
Demonstrates understanding of the high-level solution and product architecture to follow the test pyramid and automation guidelines
Demonstrates awareness of the product backend systems/services
Test Case Design, Test Planning and Estimation, Test Execution, Testing Techniques and Types, Testing Tools, Root Cause Analysis, Proficiency in scripting languages, Understanding of Continuous Integration, Database knowledge
WHAT YOU’VE DONE:
4 Years QA Skill Domain Experience(Testing Methodologies, Process etc)
2 Years Product/Industry Experience
2 years Automation experience using(any) Selenium (Java/C#), UFT, or any industry recognized tools and frameworks
Jscript/VbScript experience
Demonstrates awareness of the product backend systems/services (e.g. Database, APIs, XML etc.) and learn to develop ways to interact/test (e.g. using Queries, xPath.
Problem Solving and Analytical Skills.
Develops, updates and maintains quality testing standards and procedures including manual and automated scripts, tools, merging, continuous delivery and continuous integration
