Job Summary:
Wabtec Surface Transportation team is searching for a motivated Senior Systems and Software Test Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for integration and acceptance testing of Train Control Applications including Positive Train Control, Centralized Traffic Control, Passenger Information and Display Systems (PIDS), and Back Office Servers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain test artifacts including test plans, procedures, and reports.
Develop manual and automated scripts (Selenium).
Maintain requirements traceability.
Executing manual and automated tests.
Identify and document and questionable functionality.
Manage and coordinate resolution of defects through to closure
Maintain data on defects found and resolution of defects.
Participate in team meetings and activities.
Participate in development and peer reviews of software documentation.
Configuration management of test environment and lab.
Creation and installation of test and release builds.
Support production issues
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a degree in STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience:
Testing client-server applications on Windows/Unix OS.
Familiarity with C/C++ and Java programming with SQL.
Experience with TCL, Python, Bash/ Perl scripting languages.
Preferred Experience:
Formal Test Cycles (planning, documentation, execution, analysis, and reporting).
System\software engineering life cycle and process.
Data driven, functional and requirements-based testing (RTM).
Hands on testing(manual/automated) and implementation of test automation.
Experience testing in virtual environments
Experience with change management processes and procedures.

Experience implementing complex test automation using Selenium, TestComplete, or similar frameworks
REST API testing, AWS/Azure concepts
