Job Description

Responsibilities:
Verification and validation of hardware and software using manual and automated test methods.
Creation and execution of Verification and Validation plans, including coordinating efforts of test personnel inside and outside the Design Verification and Validation group. 
Defining test setups and environment required for System test execution
Creating Verification and Validation Procedures, executing tests, and documenting Verification Results.
Documenting any design defects (product non-conformances) discovered. Interfacing with other engineering disciplines to research, correct, and close design defects.
Managing traceability from requirements to verification
Ensuring that the testing abides to the business Engineering Quality Procedures (QMS Quality Management System), Phased Review Discipline and regulatory needs of the applicable markets
Development, implementation, and documentation of verification techniques.
Participation in project meetings, project reviews, and specification reviews.
Development of new test systems and tools and maintenance of existing test systems
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Qualifications/Requirements: 
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or equivalent.
5+ years of experience out of which at least 2 years of experience in Verification, including test fixture development at system-level for products that include Hardware and Software
Good knowledge of testing methodologies and processes, including manual, automated, standards and compliance testing
Demonstrated skills for planning and coordinating verification and validation activities for Installed base programs at a System level.
Demonstrated experience working with a multi-disciplinary team
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills
Highly familiar with quality system requirements for Design Verification
Experience performing product design verification in a highly regulated industry
Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software problems to the root cause
Knowledge of GE Healthcare test tools and processes
Familiarity with requirement, defect and software management tools (i.e. DOORS, ClearQuest, Compass, HP ALM- Application Lifecycle Management
Knowledge of Maternal and Infant Care products
High attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work in a high paced, dynamic global environment with a variety of people
Experience designing, building, and maintaining instrumented test systems or electronic systems
