Roles & Responsibilities:
Work close with all product development teams to analyse, design, and deliver a high-quality solution to meet up with customers' requirements.
Get familiar with product core and business logic, improve product awareness to improve the requirement analysis ability and test quality.
Design and execute the automation scripts by using different automation frameworks and tools.
Design testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications.
Executes tasks related to the production of the test plan, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
Embrace the Agile development model adopted by the group and promote it.
Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution, to make the quality improvement.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Minimum 3-5 years on back-end service testing, fully understand on microservice, cloud, platform system testing and integration testing:
Familiar with micros service architecture. Hands on experience in service testing
Test automation of RESTful and gRPC APIs and cloud solutions, including REST validation (e.g., REST-assured, Test Rail)
API testing tools e.g., Postman, Swagger, JMeter
Additional frameworks and tools including Cucumber and Test Rails, Jira
Understand agile/scrum process, be a good team member. Familiar with software development lifecycle, and software quality management process
Understand microservice test strategies for cloud architecture and clarify and analyse technical requirements before developing comprehensive testing plans based on system testing, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Solid skill to analysis and design the test plan, test case, submit bug based on business requirement and logical.
Ability interacts with Developers, PM (Program Manager), PO, and Scrum QA, SysQA, solid skill to share and describe and trace issues with cross-teams.
Must be able to complete assigned activities independently with minimal supervision, Be proactive in work status update.
Critical thinking/problem solver, be proactive in solving problems.
Experience with either Java, Golang, Selenium or JavaScript, skills on API automation developer genuine experience
Fast learner and flexible, be able to adapt to new areas and technologies with less monitoring.
Desired Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Know about DevOps culture, such as CI/CD tools, Release train and Canary release.
Experience on End-to-End backend platform testing
Experience with Git, Kubernetes, Docker etc
Working Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) / Azure.
Basic concepts of AI (Artificial Intelligence).
