Job Description

Summary:
Works as a member of a Scrum team to develop and execute the QA environment related scripts, Automate the steps to maintain Azure VMs and develop utilities to achieve maximum automation in the space of QA environment management in cloud.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Tech lead, scrum teams, business analysts, product specialists, developers and other project team members to assist in maintaining of QA environments in cloud, installation of client, middle tier and backend using automated scripts.
Works closely with SaaS, IaaS & PaaS Teams to get insights into the Azure cloud and related nitty gritty.
Identify and Develop automation utilities of regular QA environment management related tasks.
Understand and provide assistance in enhancing the Test automation framework.
Execute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests on a need basis
Maintain automated and manual test script libraries for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing in GitHub/JIRA
Interpret results of automation tests and document software defects in issue tracking system; proactively communicate issues with the stakeholders
Adhere to a testing schedule to ensure efficient and effective product delivery
Participate in testation activities as needed

Education:
B.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or other technical course of study or Business with an MIS background. MS degree strongly preferred.

Experience:
1 to 2 years of experience in scripting of utilities around Test Environments
Experience programming with JAVA, C#, SQL and shell scripting languages such as Powershell ,Bash, Ansible, Groovy, Python etc.
Test automation framework development.
Selenium with JAVA is preferred.
CI/CD knowledge is required preferably Jenkins, Team city
Demonstrated experience implementing and executing automation test scripts against web, native/desktop applications, APIs and batch applications.
