• Understand the bigger picture and provide feedback on how testcases but better fulfill the end target
• Able to elaborate test scripts and execute tests
• Service oriented, customer focused and have an excellent problem-solving skill
• Basic knowledge of XML, XSD, Json. You can read these, interpret them and make adjustments.
• Necessary practical experience to apply the basic concepts of Agile.
• Experience with test management systems (e.g. Testrail, Testpad, Zephyr Enterprise, Tuskr, etc.) and tools for API testing (e.g. Postman, Apigee, JMeter, etc.)
• Assist with defect management by performing Root Cause Analyses.
• SQL skills, be able to create SQL queries and analyze results
• Experience in backend testing, database testing (or ETL testing)
• Experience in writing test artefacts – Test Plans, Test cases, Test reports
Skills & Experience as test designer:
• At least 3 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Software Tester or similar role
• Risk and requirements based testing understanding
• Understand requirements, user story features, and prioritize risks based on requirements
• Data and data conditions, understanding expected test results, understand the test requirements
• Test expertise and test design
• Understanding of the delivery models, e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc. and how to incorporate them in QA activities and processes
• Hands-on experience with XRay, HPALM (Application Lifecycle Management), JIRA, Parasoft SOATest, SOAPUI or similar toolsets (qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
• Certifications is a Plus
