Position Responsibilities:
Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Review requirements and specifications to define test conditions, design and build test cases and interpret and execute complex test scripts.
Interprets and translates basic requirements into functional specifications.
Performs basic research of processes, applications, systems and data to support identification of functional requirements for application or system design
Assists in the development and execution of tests to validate system functionality against specifications.
Reporting and documenting technical issues
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Creates and maintains the product test strategy, documents it.
Works with the product management team to create the approved user guide ready for the release.
Provides test coverage reports/automates test cases percentage.
Ensures high quality deliverable is passed on to UAT phase for stakeholders testing.
Provides test evaluation summary report (test metrics) for the release.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Relevant work experience into manual and automation testing.
Basic experience with bug and test case tracking (TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps)
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
Skills in Automation Testing tools like Selenium (or) QTP (Quick Test Professional), Devops
Ability to read and write code
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Typically, 2 or more years’ related relevant work experience IT Software Testing experience
Knowledge of the integrated development environment
Ability to debug code
Ability to write scripts (in any scripting language or OS) and develop and maintain the automation Framework.
Unit testing tool knowledge and experience in its use
Ability to write stubs and drivers independently, to test each module to breakage.
Need to have excellent team orientation skills. Good Communication Skills required.
Highly motivated, a Go-Getter who needs very little or no supervision.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent Team player, Quick learner and Result oriented.
Typical Education & Experience:
Related work experience, relevant military experience, or advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
