We are looking for Performance Test Engineer to be able to contribute in performance testing and Engineering with 0-1 years of experience. Responsible for maintaining high standards for our performance testing initiative to guarantee qualitative deliveries to our customer commitments.
Automation enthusiast Experience in building/developing and enhancing Performance Test Automation Framework and Test Suites Experience building automation framework to automatically collect, analyze & Report Performance test results Experience with Jenkins and CI-CD Pipelines.
Exposure to Appdynamics, Azure, Jira & Confluence will be added advantage. Strong Performance test execution and monitoring/ analysis experience is mandatory with flexible and communication with teams. Also, knowledge in building the performance test environments through performance automation.
This will be an independent role and you will be engaging with our development teams consisting out of an ideal mix of in-depth functional and technical experts. Should have working experience in CI/CD environments in Performance implementations with a high focus on technical expertise, communication, and team dynamic.
With this new unified platform, we will be targeting our worldwide customer base which consists predominantly out of finance and banking institutions.
Your responsibilities
• Analyse the Performance requirements and translate to the execution model.
• Validate the data requirements for Performance executions.
• Define Performance Test scenarios, Develops and executes automated performance tests, analyses and reports result.
• Ensures Performance Test readiness; works with environment coordinator
• Analyses performance test execution reports; identifies performance bottle necks; recommends tuning opportunities to stakeholders.
• Ensures performance coverage meets requirements, audits test scenarios. Negotiates and determines scope and timelines for intake of new project candidates.
• Ensures test environments are proactively investigated and technical issues are resolved.
• Ensures status reports are created and meet standards / requirements; reviews status reports and identifies Continuous Strategic Improvement opportunities
• Perform daily performance test watching, report failed performance tests and follow-up with the team to fix and enhance
• Participate to full system development life cycle per company’s SDLC standards
• Set-up any additional quality control and metrics the team might need
• Generate quality reports for multiple purposes (PO’s, management, QA team, customers,
Qualifications and Skill Set
• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.
• Preferably 0-1 year of relevant working experience in Performance testing/Engineering.
• Knowledge of Subversion, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity
• Basic knowledge of Java / .Net,
• Thorough understanding of SQL within SQL Server context
• Knowledge with setting up Performance test environments and independently execute the tests.
• Understanding of best practices around performance testing and diagnosis
• knowledge of software quality assurance processes
• Knowledge in agile/SCRUM environment is an asset
• Eagerness to learn new things, and divert from common paths
• Interest in banking and in the financial industry in general
• Fluency in English, written and oral
