Responsibilities:
Participate in feature design to define test plans within and across teams, with a focus on functional, business, complex scenarios, high impact projects, usability, and accessibility.
Execute test plans for end-to-end testing based on real customer use cases.
Automate all test cases and improve / develop test automation frameworks
Building and executing test suites for distributed product deployment
Monitor product and/or feature-level quality health metrics (test-ability, test health, test coverage, etc).
Installation and staging of product deployments in a variety of configurations to testing environments.
Build automation test suits for regression and new features. Testing UI components, Checking data in databases, automating deployment and data generation.
Open bugs detailing relevant information in a repeatable way.
Reproduce issues and verify defect resolutions.
Install and Configure testing systems with latest deliveries for testing.
Interact closely with Build Engineers on the evolution of Continuous Integration and Deployment
Adhere to agile development principles while following and improving all aspects of the scrum process.
Skills and Experience required
B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology/Electronic Engineering
Total 3+ years of experience in testing distributed systems with web based front end and backend web services as QA engineer with very good test automation skills.
Must have experience in coding of the Automation Framework (TestNG, Selenium or any other UI/Backend Framework)
Experience in using code versioning tools like - Git/Bitbucket/SVN.
Experience in preparing Test Plans/Test Strategies/Reports.
Database skills required with hands-on experience in SQL.
Experience with defect management and tracking tools, preferably Jira.
Experience with installing software builds/Configuration
Experienced working on Linux and/or Unix
Hand-on experience on AWS and Jenkins is added advantage.
Have excellent communication skills.
Be a self-motivated, rapid learner with an active interest in the latest tools, technologies and processes.
Experience working in Agile
Education Qualification:
ISTQB/ISEB qualifications.
Hands on coding experience in any software development or scripting language
