Key responsibilities:
Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle.
Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing. Should be creative and proactive thinker to make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.
Develop test strategies, plans, and maintain automation test data
Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed
Execute automated tests and manage the resulting defect log through the point of defect fix validation
Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development
Required Qualifications:
Technology Leader : 10+ years of related technology and domain experience with technology degree from tier1 college.
Strong technologist with hands-on experience in QA - Manual and Automation.
Hands-on Technology Experience (Must have):
Hands-on expertise in Test Automation and setting up/creating Automation Frameworks.
Strong SQL skills and/or data validation
Hands on experience on Programming Languages - Java, Python, JS
Hands on experiene in Automation frameworks for Frontend and Backend Testing - Selenium, Cucumber, etc
Hands on experience in API Automation.
Good understanding of CI/CD
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
Hands-on Technology Experience (Desirable):
Should have good understanding of DevOps, Cloud computing and the emerging technologies.
Analytical skills: Core problem solving skills, ability to analyze available data and potential solutions, eliminate possible solutions and select an optimal solution.
