Responsibilities:
Test Planning, design, and execution for applications within an agile/scrum development environment
Design, create and maintain all automated tests of varying types: Functional, Api and Mobile
Performance testing of backend services using tools like JMeter
Creating automation frameworks and guide the team to take the automation to next level
Understanding software development requirements and identify the required testing skills for the same
Creating and executing test plans based on the requirements
Implementing the best practices pertaining to test automation methodologies
Required Skills:
Hands on coding in Java is a must
2+ years of a strong background in web application/ REST API automation testing
Proficient in functional automation tools like: Selenium using Java
Proficient in performance automation tools like: JMeter
Proficient in API automation tools like: REST Assured using Java
Proficient in mobile automation tools like: Apium using Java
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Bug Life Cycle (BLC)
Programming Languages : Java
Defect Reporting and Tracking using Automation Tools like JIRA
Databases: SQL Server, MYSQL, MongoDB.
Experience in Functional & Automated Testing of GUI and functional aspects of Client-server.
