Role and responsibilities:
Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
Understand the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of project.
Organize the testing kick-off meeting.
Define the Strategy
Identifying and selecting the automation test cases
Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy
Creating an automation test plan and getting approval
Configuring Automation Test Environment
Automating the design of a framework
Implementing it as per the structure of the project
Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases Collating and monitoring the defect management process
Managing the changes and executing regression tests
Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling.
Interacting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation.
Skills requirements:
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in, API Automation including framework and script design and having good understanding on REST Assured & Postman.
GUI Automation of Data & Analytics applications using Selenium
Good knowledge on BDD & TDD framework
Good knowledge on Security Testing including cloud-based infrastructure.
Good knowledge of performance testing with JMeter.
Experience working independently as a tester and QA lead
Knowledge of test standards and process
Prior domain experience with hand-on testing exp.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
Research skill for finding the best automation framework/tool combination solutions
Scripting skill. Professional with Java/Python/C# etc.
Good framework design skill. Know how to design a good automation test framework that is easy to maintain.
Have test suites/cases design experience. Know how people may use the automation test framework to design test suites/cases.
Have general view of how the automation test framework can work with other QA part? How to send automation test report? etc.
Qualifications
7-10 years of work experience in software testing (Functional & Automation)
BE, B.Tech, MCA degree from a reputed university
