We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineering Architect to lead our quality assurance and testing initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the testing strategy, designing and implementing quality engineering frameworks, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Responsibilities:
Quality Engineering Strategy: Develop and communicate a comprehensive quality engineering strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and product roadmap.
Test Architecture: Define and implement the test architecture, including the selection of tools and technologies, to ensure efficient, scalable, and effective test automation.
Testing Frameworks: Design, build, and maintain testing frameworks that support a wide range of test types, including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance testing, and security testing.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline, enabling frequent and reliable software releases.
Quality Assurance Practices: Set and enforce quality assurance practices, including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.
Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key quality metrics to provide transparency into the quality of software releases. Present findings to stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
Technical Leadership: Mentor and provide technical guidance to quality engineers, testers, and automation engineers to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Tool Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to support the testing and quality engineering process.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to ensure quality is built into every stage of the software development life cycle.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, proposing preventive measures and solutions
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality engineering, software testing, or quality assurance, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership or architect role.
Strong knowledge of software architecture and design principles.
Proficiency in various testing methodologies and practices, including test automation, performance testing, and security testing.
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
Strong expertise in using testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, REST Assured, or ReadyAPI, JUnit, TestNG, JIRA, and others.
In-depth knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, including Jenkins, or similar.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Certification in software testing is a plus.
