Role and Responsibilities:
Test plan development, test automation and test execution for fiber access solutions
Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
Develop test plan based on technical designs for the customer requirements
Maintain standards compliance.
Write well designed, testable and efficient code.
Document and maintain software functionality.
Automation of the feature testing using Python and Robot framework
Required specific knowledge, skills and abilities
Experience in Python programming
Experience with Robot framework
Good insight of Python programming and Robot framework.
Good in Network programming using Python
Knowledge of protocols/technologies like TCP/IP, IGMP, QOS, VLAN, IEEE802.3 and PON concepts
Worked on real time multi-threaded applications and good in reverse engineering and understanding python-based programs
Self-motivated individual who can take full responsibility for a subcomponent within the team. Should be ready to participate in a team development and support of various components of large-scale applications
Understanding/knowledge of tools for version control like GIT hub etc
Good verbal and written communication and experience in interacting with team members
Automation experience using the Python is mandatory
Good analytical & problem-solving skills
Working experience in Agile/Safe methodology
Other demonstrated relevant experience with processes, tools and test methods such as TDD, pytest, github, solution testing, Agile, REST, NETCONF, Spirent, Shenick, Test to Pass, Test to fail, xPON, XGS-PON, GPON, RG, ONT, SDN orchestrator, iperf, Ookla. Layer 2 testing, Layer 3 testing.

Degree required:
B Tech/BE/MTECH/MS in ECE or in CSE
