Required Experience:
Working with software engineers, testers, actuaries and the product owner to identify the scope for automated testing.
Analyzing existing systems and writing acceptance criteria including test scenarios written using Gherkin syntax
Analyzing new complex software features and building appropriate automated tests, including end to end Cypress tests, load and performance tests, Web API integration tests, security tests, non-functional requirement tests.
Proven skill in analyzing technical issues and translating them into component designs.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in leading testing efforts, guiding junior testers and ensuring testing best practices are followed.
Experience in setting up of Automation Environment, build deployment using Octopus.
Min 3 years of hands-on automation testing including creating new frameworks using UFT, Cypress etc. and appropriate test harnesses or equivalent software engineering experience.
Experience in writing automation tests for WEB UI as well as REST and SOAP service endpoints
Bug Tracking: Proficiency in using bug tracking tools to report and track defects is often required (Tools) - JIRA , Azure Devops, Test Rail
Experience in Integrating the test automation tools with Devops pipeline and Test Management tools
Preferred Experience:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams.
Having experience in data validation, data integrity, data accuracy (using SQL query languages) will be an asset.

8 - 10 years of in-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques is essential. Familiarity with various types of testing (functional, regression, integration etc.) is expected.
Sets up and automates test development, testing on System, Integration, E2E and UAT environments for smoke and regression testing.
Test Documentation: Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts is crucial for effectively conducting manual testing.
