A Software Test Analyst Automation 1 is a tester role responsible for designing developing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and efficiency of software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers manual qa etc.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality.
• Execute automated and manual test scripts across different phases of the testing lifecycle.
• Identify and create reusable test data particularly for automated testing.
• Analyze test results identify defects and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and improve software quality.
• Report test automation metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in test automation.
Required Skills:
• 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance tester along with 1 year of experience developing automated test scripts.
• 1+ years’ experience with test automation tools specifically Cypress/JavaScript Cucumber (BDD) and/or Selenium TestNG Junit page objects
• Well verse with Visual Studio NodeJs IntelliJ IDEA and or eclipses.
• Experience or knowledge of different test automation frameworks
• Hands on experience with UI and API automation using Cypress JavaScript based framework.
• Good Hand-on with source control systems such as Git Bit Bucket Subversion.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java Python C# or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of software testing concepts methodologies and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
